Remember & Pass the Legacy

This has been a marvelous week of dedication to a man who gave his life, so that others could live a life of respect, peace and equality for all.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was among other great men who thought, fought (with their minds and influence), and did similar things for mankind.  Let us not forget the legacy of Abraham Lincoln, Dr. King, John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy – just to name a few.

Hold On — Be Strong
“Submit yourself therefore to God.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James. 4:7).  Make sure you’re strong enough to resist.  You should be strong in your faith and in God’s Word.  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Eph. 6:10).   We must know the Bible in order to be resistant.  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Tim. 2:15).  If you take the time to listen to Him, the Lord will teach you.

Order
It is ours to command, but order belongs to God.  Not our will, but His Will is to be done. “Let all things be done decently and in order” (I Cor. 14:40).
