In the meantime, while waiting for answers to my dilemma, my
body didn’t know whether it was going through PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome), DMS
(during menstrual syndrome) or PAWS (menopause). Another subject we’ll cover later. No, let’s cover it now. A woman’s nerves are more on edge during that
later time in her life; circumstances are more intolerable during that time of
life, and her body feels as if it is going in one direction while she is being
pulled in another direction, and she usually just wants to dig a hole, jump in,
and remain undisturbed for the duration.
Women: It is possible to be victorious during times of PAWS
and PMS. It’s not easy, but it is
possible. Be aware that once a month you
are going to have to try harder to be more patient, sweet, understanding,
forgiving, and easygoing. You do have
the mind of Christ, and, if you have a temporary lapse of memory, you need to
ask Him to bring all things back to your memory. You must be very conscious about what comes
out of your mouth. Think before you
speak, especially during these times.
Sometimes you may appear to be on tranquilizers when you speak slowly,
but, if you ask Him for an extra dose of love during those times, God will
guide your thoughts and your tongue. You
can do all things through Christ, which strengthens you (Phil. 4:13). Stand on that Word!
You’ve got to believe.
