People always complain that there’s nothing to do, or things to do around
Jacksonville, Florida.Well, according
to Folioweekly, there will be a famous actor and a magazine icon coming to
the American Beach Museum, for a couple of days.
Please call the museum to see if Danny Glover, Susan Taylor, Brian Davis and
Christopher Fowler will still be in attendance after the storm (Hurricane
Dorian).

As they prepare for Hurricane Dorian, the museum and gardens wanted to share
with you that the Cummer Museum will be closed beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday,
September 1, through Wednesday, September 4.For the safety of the art, staff and their visitors, the Cummer will
evaluate the conditions and reopen as soon as possible.
Saturday, August 31 – Museum and Café open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, September 1 – Museum open 12 to 4 p.m.
Monday, September 2 – Closed
Tuesday, September 3 – Closed
Wednesday, September 4 – Closed
