'Finders Keepers' getting ready for the 2016 Fall sale

Update: August 14, 2016
Instead of “Sale of the Century”, this is the Bi-Annual sale that you don’t want to miss.  Finders Keepers will be presenting their Fall/Winter fashions from Thursday, September 1 – Saturday, September 3, 2016 when all items will be ready for your shopping pleasure.  The Finders Keepers Children's Consignment Sale is the Premier Children's Consignment Sale in the First Coast area.  They've been serving Jacksonville since 2004 and have one sale in the Spring and one in the Fall.  The sale of gently used items is held in a spacious, 28,000 sq. foot auditorium.  at the centrally located Morocco Shrine Center on St. Johns Bluff Road in Jacksonville, FL.

Come early for a great selection of clothes, shoes, books, bedding, utensils, games, furniture, toys, nick-knacks and much more.  It doesn’t matter if you have Children, Grandchildren or you want to bless someone; there will be something that you will find helpful for every small fry.  If you are interested in shopping while saving money; you are in for a real treat.  You will find everything pertaining to children from: clothes, books, bikes, toys, and furniture for all age groups.  Most people enjoy shopping Children's consignment sales vs. yard & garage sales because of the convenience and higher quality.  Everything you need can be found under one roof in a climate-controlled building.  “Finders Keepers” accepts cash and all major credit cards.

A little suggestion: It’s understandable that you are shopping for your children and trying to save a little money, but if at all possible, find someone to watch the little blessings while you take advantage of the great prices.  Unless your child/children are extraordinarily quiet, patient and don’t mind being in their strollers for an extended period of time; they won’t enjoy themselves.  You will be happier, the people around you will have a great time, and you child will appreciate all the goodies that you’ll bring home, if you come by yourself or with a friend.

So start saving your money this month and get ready to save, save - save.

Welcome to the 2016 Born to Win Conference in JAX

Re-posted from Examiner Feb. 8, 2016

Impact Church wants to remind Jacksonville, FL, and the surrounding areas, that we were “Born to Win.”  As Jacksonville reels from recent shootings, and a rise in violence, including a dramatic upsurge in murders, Pastor George Davis is reminding the city that ‘violence isn’t our destiny;’ in fact, we were “Born to Win.”  That’s the name of the innovative leadership conference being held at Jacksonville’s Impact Church.

This year’s conference features a new generation of leadership experts and church leaders including: Keith Butler, Hajj Flemings, Dexter Howard, Jeremy Pearsons, Corey Williams, as well as a night of worship with Byron Cage (see lineup below).  This year’s conference promises to give Jacksonville residents a new perspective on transformation.  As George Davis states, “Now is the time to shake off the gloom of defeat, the shadow of discouragement, and the heaviness of disappointment.  This is the hour to break out of your comfort zone.”

Pastor Davis feels strongly that these new voices in leadership have a message for the men and women of Jacksonville and beyond, and he’s setting the stage for a remarkable event.  The theme this year is: “Transformation – Becoming All God Created You to Be!”  In spite of what we see in the headlines and on the evening news, “Born to Win” will pull back the curtains and show the city what God believes is possible.

Impact Church has been a vital part of Jacksonville since 1996.  The church has expanded under the leadership of Pastor Davis to include eleven other churches and is still growing.  In addition, the 70,000 square foot facility houses a private school, and many vital ministry and social services outreaches to the Jacksonville area.  You may have noticed the recent disclosure about Impact Church getting ready for a new facility.  Check back to see more details about the new church.
