Family-Style Meal: Fri., June 5 - Sun., June 7 (4 servings).  Chef DeJuan's Famous Shrimp & Grits served with caesar salad, and dessert of Chef's kitchen sink cookies.  $55

Entrée Options for Fri., June 5 (1 serving/each) Herb & Crumb Crusted Cod with lemon beurre blanc, rice casserole, zucchini and squash medley, and dessert of chocolate peanut butter pie. A Very Special Mother's Day announcement from Managing Partner Craig Smith.  The Alhambra will be open and ready for you to come and dine at the Theater this coming Sunday.  Or you can have Sunday dinner at home; just place your order, light the candles, chill the wine and set your table.

Dear Friends,

With the great news that Florida can begin opening businesses starting this week, we want to invite you to the Alhambra for a very special Mother's Day celebration lunch in the theater.  Join us for an incredible dining experience, highlighted by Chef DeJuan's amazing menu.  Plus, we'll have our grand player piano on the stage serenading mom with all her favorite tunes!

Of course, we always keep the Alhambra sparkling clean, and you can rest assured we are taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure a safe environment for our guests and our staff.  We will operate under the complete guidelines of our state and local leaders, including: limiting our seating capacity, wearing masks and gloves and continuing to clean frequently during service.

Should you prefer to celebrate at home, we are also offering an exceptional menu to-go as well. Either way we look forward to celebrating this special day with you.

Below is your weekly communication from the Managing Partner of the Alhambra Theatre and Dining.  Even though the last stage play at the iconic theater was “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”, the great meals created by Executive Chef, DeJuan Roy and brought out to your car by some of the most courteous servers in city of Jacksonville Florida, are some of the most delicious meals that you’ll ever taste.  Order your Passover/Holiday/Easter meals today for Tuesday April 7 through Sunday April 12, 2020 (Easter Family Feast only $95 and feeds a family of 4).

In case you haven't heard, the Alhambra is included among the many great local places for take-home dining - and, as always, a place you trust for the care we put into everything we do.  If you have not treated yourself to one of our made-from-scratch take-home meals, now is the time.  From the feedback we've received, we know you will not be disappointed.  For those of you have enjoyed our take-home dining and curbside delivery, thank you so much for the amazing support for our wonderful staff and our great theater.

In case you haven't heard, the Alhambra is included among the many great local places for take-home dining - and, as always, a place you trust for the caring we put into everything we do.  If you have not treated yourself to one of our made-from-scratch take-home meals, now is the time.  From the feedback we've received, we know you will not be disappointed.  For those of you have enjoyed our take-home dining and curbside delivery, thank you so much for the amazing support for our wonderful staff and our great theater.

“Alhambra Takeout”: Food without the Drama

“Dear Alhambra Family,

I trust this email finds everyone happy, healthy, and settling in to a new routine this week. I never learned to cook, so you can imagine the last week has been interesting for me without Chef.  We have taken this time to work with our landscaper to freshen up the Harry Frisch Garden in front of the theater.  Take a peek when you are picking up your delicious take-home meals.

For 11 years, we have worked to make the Alhambra a place we all love to visit and where we can create memories that will last a lifetime.  Many of us have spent 20, 30, 40, even 50 years coming here.  One of the most important parts of the Alhambra is the 80+ people who greet you every time you visit, and these people are my responsibility.  This staff is made up of young people just starting out, single moms, and servers that have made a 40-year career here.  They are men and women from all walks of life.  As a business and as a family, we have to look out for them.

In an effort to protect and look out for our guests and our Alhambra family, we came up with the idea of serving our wonderful Alhambra food curbside at the theater.  With this in mind, our staff can continue to serve you the top-quality meals you have come to love, while still having the ability to support themselves and their families.  I am proud to tell you we sold almost 400 take-home meals last weekend and, more importantly, had 17 people back at work.  All the feedback from the meals were excellent.  With that success, we have decided to expand our program and add a few extra days.  I know we are all getting a little stir crazy, so now you have a reason to hop in the car and take a nice trip to the theater.  You have a great meal from Chef and his team to look forward to and you will get to see the smiling faces of the folks you have come to know as friends!  We will even have a nice surprise for you when you get here.  Rest assured, we are continuing to follow every precaution possible in terms of cleanliness and protecting everyone's health.

Culinary Corner - Alhambra Dinner Pickup

How it Works: Starting Thursday, March 19, we invite you to call-in or place an order online (using the links below) to order the featured entree and dessert for pickup this Friday and/or Saturday.  Orders may be placed any time prior to 5 p.m. on the day before pickup.

We will serve food on Friday & Saturday of this week, but hope to be able to add more days in the coming weeks.  Curbside service will begin at 3 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m.  When you arrive to pick up your order using the drive-through drop off area in front of the theater, a service member will deliver your food straight to your car - fresh, hot and ready to go!

Menus: Each week (when we are able to offer this service), we will email you a menu with the option to place an order. Simply click the link below your desired day(s) to place your order online or call the box office and we'll take care of the rest. Each meal is priced at $20 (including tax).

The Alhambra’s service staff appreciates any gratuity offered.

Fri., Mar. 20: Old-Fashioned Chicken & Dumplings with carrots, celery, and onions & Chocolate Cake with mixed berry sauce.  $20
OR
Sat., Mar. 21: Pork Ribeye with mashed potatoes, gravy, zucchini and squash medley & Traditional Chocolate Mousse.  $20.
