There are so many

Shop the Season at the Cummer Shop is a
selection of three distinct holiday shopping opportunities, all supporting the
programs and mission of the Museum. Follow

The first event of the season is Holiday Shoppes in partnership with the
Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach. This event will take place at the Ponte Vedra
Concert Hall and will host a variety of vendors. The event will take place on Friday November 9, 2018 from 10 a.m. to
7 p.m. Admission is $5. Proceeds from the event will support the
Cultural Center and the Cummer Museum.
Museum Store Sunday, in partnership with the Museum Store Association, will
take place on Sunday, November 25, 2018
from noon to 4 p.m. This event is free
to the public and all shoppers will receive a 25% discount on their purchases. Join the Museum the Sunday after Thanksgiving
for this worldwide museum shopping day that puts the spotlight on the
mission-related products found at museum stores. Celebrate with 25% off on the 25th, trunk
shows by local artisans, free Museum Store Sunday tote bag with first 25
purchases over $50, free entry to win one of two Family Memberships on all
purchases over $50. #BeAPatron
The final event in the series is the Cummer Shop’s annual Champagne &
Shopping. This fantastic event takes
place on Thursday and Friday, December
6-7, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy complimentary champagne and appetizers
while shopping special artisan merchandise brought in just for this two-day
event. Trunk show offerings will

The Cummer Shop is filled with items that are
educational, inspirational, and fun. The
selections reflect the quality of the Cummer Museum’s permanent collection, gardens,

admission, as well as art-making activities for all ages in the Cummer Gardens,

Bank Of America And Merrill Lynch Museums On Us — Sun., Dec. 3 from Noon to
4 p.m. | Free to Cardholders. No
registration required. The Cummer Museum
of Art & Gardens offers free admission on the first Sunday of the first
full weekend of the month to all Bank of America or Merrill Lynch cardholders
through the Museums on Us program. Each
cardholder receives one free general admission to the Museum. For more

Art for Tots: Triangle Trees!
Sat., Dec. 16 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Members $15 per pair, Non-Members $20 per
pair. Registration required. Ages 24-36 months with accompanying adult. Join us with your little one to explore
holiday traditions, looking at triangle shapes. Using several techniques, they
will create a winter landscape highlighting this basic geometric shape. Art for
Tots is funded through the generosity of the Chartrand Family Foundation. Entry

Art Adventures: The Cummer
Family! Sat, Dec 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Members $10, Non-Members $15. Registration required for ages 6 through 12. Join the Cummer on the third Saturday of each
month for studio classes. This class
will focus on the history of the Cummer Museum and its founders. Students will view works depicting families
from the permanent collection and create a work of art exploring what family
means to them. Projects will be
completed within one class period. Class

Update: Garden Concert - The
Garden Concert has been moved to Riverside Arts Market, under the Fuller Warren
bridge.
The newest exhibition at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Bijoux
Parisiens: French Jewelry from the Petit Palais, Paris, will be on view October 13, 2017
through January 7, 2018, featuring more than 100 works of jewelry and drawings,
fashion prints, paintings, and photographs.
Exhibition produced by the Petit Palais, City of Paris Fine Art Museum,
Paris Musées.
Bijoux Parisiens explores the
intriguing intersection of French history, art, and fashion. Bringing together
dazzling works from the great jewelry houses of Boucheron, Cartier, Chaumet,
Lalique, and Van Cleef & Arpels that call Paris home, this exhibition tells
the story of French jewelry from the 17th to the 20th century.
Holly Keris, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Curator at the Museum,
says, “The Cummer Museum is thrilled to share Bijoux Parisiens with the community. Jewelry – from design to
execution – is a creative art form with a unique history. The exhibition traces this rich history
through fine works of art, including design drawings, and stellar pieces of
jewelry, from before the time of Louis XIV (r. 1643–1715) through World War II.
It is going to be a showstopper!”
Bijoux Parisiens illustrates the
historic events and influences that shaped French art and helped establish the
great Parisian maisons that remain household names to this day. Bijoux Parisiens opens to members and
the community on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 6 p.m.
