Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, people came out to the Times Union Center in
Jacksonville, Florida to safely experience: “Reza - Edge of Illusion”. Reza is recognized as one of
today’s most highly sought-after entertainers in the touring illusion industry.
The children and adults in the audience were mesmerized by his quick wit,
interactivity with the audience, and his ability to make a helicopter appear on
stage. This reporter can attest that he made the impossible (Ms. “V” knows the
logistics behind the stage and was very impressed) appear right before your
eyes. You may want to check to see if REZA is coming to a venue near you.
Now for the update of the Times Union Center for the Performing Arts - they
have taken every precaution to maintain your safety as their valued guest:
Upon coming into the building, you will be checked as at any airport except you
don’t need to remove your shoes. Your face will be scanned, temperature
taken, and your ticket will be scanned by a gracious host/hostess before you
are escorted to your seat. There are two empty seats separating your party and
also staggered spacing between rows. You can purchase beverages in the lower
lobby, yet you need to drink them before you go back into the theatre stage
area. Masks are worn during your entire visit with NO exceptions. Social
distancing is followed by everyone. This reporter did NOT have to wait in line
to use the restroom and there is plenty hand soap and paper towels. There is NO
hanging around in the lobby after the show and everyone leaves expeditiously out
the front or back doors.
Take a look at the slide show and video and get your tickets for one or more
amazing upcoming shows.

Following the highly successful 2018 Michael Carbonaro Live! Tour Michael
Carbonaro has added Winter and Spring 2019 dates, with an upcoming visit to JAX. Magician and extraordinaire
performer Michael Carbonaro has returned to the road with more dates of his
highly-acclaimed national theater tour, “Michael Carbonaro Live!” with stops
including: San Antonio Atlantic City, St. Louis, Los Angeles and more!
Michael Carbonaro has performed over five-hundred
comically perplexing and improbable feats of magic on his hit TV series, The
Carbonaro Effect on truTV, currently in its fourth season. A
trickster at heart, Michael performs inventive tricks on
unsuspecting members of the public who are unaware that he is
a magician. Jaws drop when he causes a car to disappear
from under a security guard’s nose or makes alien crabs transform
into kittens in a science lab. Whether posing as a
coffee shop barista, museum curator, or seemingly unremarkable store clerk
in the REAL world, Carbonaro's illusions – along with his absurd,
matter-of-fact explanations – leave REAL people bewildered and families at
home laughing out loud.
And now, he is taking his popular theater show back on the road so more families
can feel the effect of Michael Carbonaro… Live! You will
not just “sit back, relax, and enjoy the show,” Michael Carbonaro
Live! is jam-packed with audience interaction, hilarious video clips,
and a whirlwind of mind-blowing magic performed live on stage. See for
yourself why Michael was named “Magician of the Year” by the Academy of Magical
Arts and presented with the first-ever “Copperfield Prize,” which recognizes an
individual for elevating the art of magic.

Carbonaro Live! For more information about the tour visit HERE. Be sure to catch new episodes The
