Saying ‘Thank You’ with written words for a gift

According to the Bible, older women are to give Godly advice to younger women, to teach them good things and proper etiquette.  It may not seem important to you, nonetheless, when you receive a gift from someone, you should send them a note of thanks.  It doesn’t have to be a long letter, but a card (even from the Dollar Store) means a lot to the person who took time to think of you and bless you.  Sure, you told them ‘Thank You” at that moment, but a card lasts longer and shows them that it wasn’t just something that one says at that particular time.

Below is an excerpt from “Where Did That Come From?” that puts into written words, the sentiment of what a person should do when a blessing is bestowed upon them in the form of righteousness and the love of God.

When someone gives you something that you didn’t expect, by all means, say “Thank You”, and then get a card and a stamp (sure the price of stamps is getting higher as time goes by, but it will be worth the money) to express your gratitude for “The Gift” that was given to you.

The Destination! - About Us

The Destination Magazine was founded in 2003 by Daniel Kashif for Believers to share their testimonies, miracles, messages, visions and personal experiences gained in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Daniel's vision is that God's people will draw closer to Him, that those who have fallen away will be reminded that God loves them and to remind them that God is not angry at them, that He earnestly desires their presence in that day when He takes up His own.

The Destination Magazine is for Christians and non-Christians who have many questions or confusion in regard to God, their walk with the Lord, Christianity or other life issues. Our goal is to help them find answers to their questions, to remove their confusion and to point them to the One (Jesus Christ) Who alone can bring them to the place He has destined for them.

About Mused - the BellaOnline Literary Review

Mused - the BellaOnline Literary Review was begun in 2007 as a way for BellaOnline to continue in its mission to help writers of all ages, backgrounds and interests to reach a larger audience. Our BellaOnline website is a training ground and educational system designed to help over 400 writers at a time learn these skills. This was a wonderful beginning for us, but we wanted to reach more people. There have always been many applicants for each open editor position at BellaOnline, and we've had to turn away writers with wonderful ideas and interesting stories. Mused - the BellaOnline Literary Review allows us to promote a wider audience of writers, and also to help writers who are not interested in writing on a weekly schedule.Mused is registered with the US Library of Congress:Online HTML edition - 1941-6040Print PDF edition - 1941-6032
