'MOSH' to host Fourth of July celebration

The Museum of Science & History (MOSH) is celebrating the Fourth of July in style. The Museum will be open for extended hours from 5 – 9 p.m., followed by rooftop access from 9 – 10:30 p.m. to enjoy the City of Jacksonville’s fireworks display over the St. Johns River.

After enjoying the Museum and the mythical world of fire-breathing creatures in The Lost World of Dragons, sit back and watch fireworks light the night sky red, white and blue!

Concessions, including shaved ice from Kona Ice, light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase on the rooftop.

SAFETY: The aim of the MOSH is to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests. Masks are required for all patrons 6 years and older. Single-use masks available for purchase for $1 at the front desk. Attendees may remove their masks when eating or drinking, and for the fireworks display on the rooftop when socially distanced.
